For some strange reason, you've either stumbled upon our small humble website by chance, or you've had an invite to visit. Either way, enjoy your stay while we share some family stuff which includes recipes, walks, books, holidays and the sort.
We recently visited Lords (The Home of cricket) to enjoy watching Durham thrash Hampshire. You can see pictures of the day by clicking through our photo album or visit the Lords web site Lords
Along with Cricket, we're also keen Newcastle United fans and are season ticket holders. We plan to put some images onto the site as the season progress (we hope).
More recently, we've returned from a holiday on the West Coast of Scotland up in the beautiful surroundings of Gairloch, a stunning part of the world and one we hope to visit again. You can take a virtual trip by clicking Gairloch and see what we mean.
In an effort to keep fit and stay healthy, we try and get out as much as possible. Our walks include short family rambles, to more adventurous walks, like the one I've just undertaken with the North Pennines ANOB Partnership up in the high Pennines. For more information visit the North Pennines website. This particular walk is entitled the Tyne-Tees Traverse and is almost 15 miles. Starting from the source of the South Tyne, up over the fells through the Geo Park and down in to Dufton. Click Geo Parks to find out more. Link
That's about it for now. Enjoy your visit and thanks for looking.
